Workiz users can sign in through the company’s web application at app.workiz.com or through the official Workiz mobile app. Start with the web login page, enter the username and password assigned to your account, and complete the one-time verification step when it appears.

Workiz is field service management software for businesses that schedule and dispatch technicians. Its platform includes job management, client records, scheduling, invoicing, payment tools, communications, and mobile access for workers in the field.
Use the Correct Workiz Login Page
For desktop access, Workiz instructs users to open app.workiz.com in a web browser. The login screen asks for a username and password, followed by an optional one-time passcode when additional verification is enabled for the account.
Do this first.
Avoid searching repeatedly for “Workiz login” and opening whichever advertisement or third-party directory appears first. Enter the web application address yourself or reach it from the main Workiz website. A password manager may also help you recognize the correct saved domain.
The mobile route is different. Workiz provides an application through Apple’s App Store and Google Play, and its login instructions say to open the installed app, enter the account credentials, and provide a one-time passcode when requested.
Tablet users have two supported choices: the mobile application or the browser-based web application. Workiz specifically documents both methods for devices such as iPads and Android tablets.
What a Workiz Account Is Used For
Workiz is primarily designed for field service companies that send employees or contractors to customer locations. Its public materials identify functions such as scheduling, dispatching, work orders, customer management, invoicing, payment processing, phone tools, and mobile job updates.
A dispatcher may use the browser dashboard to organize appointments and assign technicians. A technician may open the mobile app to review assigned work, update job information, communicate with the office, or handle permitted invoice activities. Exactly what each person can see depends on the role and permissions selected by the company administrator. Workiz documents controls that can restrict financial information, job visibility, dashboard access, card-charging permissions, and other account capabilities.
That distinction matters. A missing menu is not automatically a software failure.
Reset a Forgotten Workiz Password
On the login screen, select Forgot password? and follow the account-recovery instructions sent to the email address associated with the user profile. Workiz’s help documentation identifies that email address as both the login email and the destination for password-reset links.
Check the inbox connected to the account, including spam or filtered-mail folders. Skip repeated reset requests for a few minutes because several recovery emails can make it difficult to identify which link is current.
A user who is already signed in can change the password from the account interface:
- Open Team from the navigation bar.
- Open the user profile.
- Select Reset password in the upper-right corner.
- Enter the current password and the new password.
- Select Change.
An authorized administrator can also initiate a reset for another team member. Workiz places that action under the profile icon, Manage team, the relevant user, and then Actions > Reset password. The team member receives an email link for setting the replacement password.
Why the Reset Email May Not Arrive
The first item to verify is the user profile’s login email. Workiz states that this address receives password-reset links, so an old, misspelled, or inaccessible address can stop the recovery process before it reaches the employee.
Company administrators with the required User settings permission can update a team member’s login email. Workiz documents the path through team management and the Email field under User details. After the change is confirmed, the user receives a password-reset link and must update the password to complete the change.
No permission? Contact the account administrator.
This is one of the more easily missed account-access problems. Employees sometimes keep trying the new email address even though the company profile still contains the previous one. Others assume that changing a contact email elsewhere in the business automatically changes the Workiz login. The login email should be checked inside the actual user profile.
Do not send passwords, verification codes, or private account documents through an ordinary support message.
Workiz Verification Code Problems
Workiz supports two-factor authentication, commonly called 2FA. When it is enabled, the login process requires a verification code in addition to the password. The code may be delivered to the mobile phone connected to the profile, and accounts can be configured to offer email as another delivery option.
A practical troubleshooting order is:
- Confirm that the username and password were accepted.
- Check whether the code was sent by text message or email.
- Confirm that the phone can receive text messages.
- Look for delayed or filtered email messages.
- Ask an administrator whether the profile contains the correct phone number.
- Contact Workiz support when the registered number is no longer accessible.
Workiz notes that the user profile phone number is the number used for one-time 2FA passcodes and that it must be able to receive text messages. Its 2FA instructions direct users who no longer control the registered phone number to support.
Do not keep guessing codes. Resolve the delivery route first.
When Login Works but Features Are Missing
A successful login does not mean every user receives the same workspace. Workiz allows administrators to customize roles and permissions, restrict technicians to assigned jobs, limit financial visibility, control dashboard access, and determine whether a technician can charge cards.
For example, Workiz says the ability to update a login email requires the User settings permission. A team member without that permission will not see the same option described in the administrator instructions.
Before reinstalling the application, ask the administrator whether your role includes the missing feature. This should be checked before browser resets, device changes, or repeated support requests.
The same rule applies when an employee sees only assigned jobs or cannot view account finances. Those restrictions may be intentional. The administrator should compare the user’s assigned role with another employee who has the expected access.
Browser and Mobile App Troubleshooting
Workiz’s web application and mobile application provide separate access routes. When one route fails, test the other to determine whether the problem is tied to the device, browser, app installation, or account itself.
For the browser:
- Open the direct Workiz web application rather than an old bookmark.
- Reload the login page.
- Try a private browsing window.
- Temporarily disable extensions that alter scripts, cookies, or login pages.
- Test another current browser.
- Confirm that the device date and time are correct.
For mobile access:
- Confirm that the installed app is the Workiz field service application.
- Install available updates through the device’s app store.
- Fully close and reopen the application.
- Switch between Wi-Fi and mobile data to test the connection.
- Use the browser version temporarily when the mobile app will not open.
These are general device-isolation checks, not Workiz-specific guarantees. If the same credentials fail on both the official browser application and the official mobile app, prioritize password recovery, verification settings, or administrator assistance.
What to Do During a Suspected Workiz Outage
A suddenly blank dashboard or repeated loading failure does not always indicate a bad password. Check whether coworkers are experiencing the same problem and test another network or device before changing account details.
Workiz has separate guidance for its phone product during system interruptions. The company notes that Workiz Phone may remain functional when an outage does not affect the phone infrastructure. This means one component can continue working while another part of the platform is unavailable.
Keep a basic fallback process for active jobs: technician contact details, the day’s schedule, customer addresses, and an approved method for recording updates until normal access returns. The exact procedure should come from the business owner or operations manager.
Avoid relying solely on unofficial outage pages. Use them as a clue, then confirm the issue through Workiz support or information presented inside the service.
How to Contact Workiz Support
Workiz says the fastest support route is the chat bubble shown in the lower-right corner of its Help Center or web application. Its help page also lists support@workiz.com as a support email address.
Include:
- The company or workspace name
- The affected user’s name
- Whether the issue occurs on web, mobile, or both
- The approximate time the problem began
- The exact wording of any visible error
- Troubleshooting already completed
Do not include the password, full payment details, one-time login codes, or other confidential authentication information.
For some sensitive support actions, Workiz documents a feature that generates a one-time support PIN inside the account. Use that process only when directed through an authenticated Workiz support channel.
Creating a New Workiz Account
Workiz offers trial and demonstration routes from its main website and pricing pages. Its current terms describe a default seven-day trial unless Workiz configures a different trial period for the subscription. Offers and eligibility can change, so confirm the current conditions on the pricing and signup screens before proceeding.
A company owner evaluating Workiz should test the actual operating workflow rather than creating a few sample contacts and stopping there. Schedule a job, assign it to a test technician, open the mobile view, review role permissions, generate a draft estimate or invoice, and examine how customer communication is recorded.
Prioritize dispatch and technician usability. Skip optional add-ons until the team can complete its ordinary daily workflow without confusion.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is the Workiz login address?
The documented web application is app.workiz.com.
Can technicians use Workiz on a phone?
Yes. Workiz provides mobile applications for field teams, with access to jobs, customer information, communications, and other functions permitted by their account role.
Why can’t I see the same menus as my manager?
Your role may have different permissions. Workiz allows administrators to restrict access to assigned jobs, financial data, dashboard information, payment functions, and user settings. Ask the company administrator to review your assigned role before treating the missing menu as an application fault.
Can my manager reset my Workiz password?
An authorized user can open Manage team, choose the employee, and select Actions > Reset password. The employee then receives an email link for creating a new password.
What if I no longer have my 2FA phone?
Contact Workiz support.
Can I use Workiz from a tablet browser?
Yes. Workiz documents both browser access and use of the mobile application on supported tablets.
Is Workiz only an invoicing application?
No. Invoicing is one part of the platform. Workiz also presents tools for scheduling, dispatching, job management, customer records, communications, payment processing, and mobile field operations. Available features depend on the company’s subscription and account configuration.
Where should I report a Workiz login problem?
Use the support chat bubble in the Workiz Help Center or web app. Workiz also lists its support email in the official help documentation. Report the error and affected platform, but keep passwords and verification codes private.
For most access problems, check the exact login email, password-reset route, 2FA destination, and user permissions in that order. Escalate through the authenticated Workiz support channels when the registered email or phone number can no longer be reached.
